The 17th Annual Con Curtin Music Festival is on from the 23rd to the 25th of June! There will be traditional music sessions throughout the weekend with top class musicians from all over Ireland. For more information on the sessions visit our Pub Trail page.

Friday 23rd June

Con Curtin Music FestivalTThe 17th Annual Con Curtin Music Festival is on from the 23th to the 25th of June! This year the Friday night Concert will feature the 'Raw Bar Collective', with support from Storytellers Billy O'Brien and John Murphy, and All Ireland champion musicians Gearóid and Darragh Curtin.

Tickets are now on sale for the concert and can be obtained from any committee member for €15. For contact details please visit our Contacts page. The concert is a ticket only event, so be sure to get your tickets early to avoid disappointment.

Saturday 24th June

This year we will be holding music workshops for the following instruments; Accordion (Benny McCarthy), Fiddle (David Sheridan), Banjo (Brian Fitzgerald), Concertina (Máiréad Hurley), Flute (Conal O Gráda).

The Fiddle recital will be 5pm Saturday evening. There are two other recitals Saturday evening: Mairead Hurley,John Blake & Jacqui Martin, and also Liam and Paudie O'Connor.

Snacks for the workshops are kindly sponsored by Pallas Foods.

Traditional mass takes place in St Carthage Church Saturday the 24th of June at 8pm.

Sunday 25th June

Con Curtin Music Festival

Weather permitting, the Junior & Senior busking competition will take place at 1.30pm. The Con Curtin Memorial Cup will be presented to the winners of the Senior Category. This will be followed by an open air session which will take place in the square and is open to everyone to join. There is also an U12 busking competition this year, kindly sponsored by Brosna Comhaltas CCE - 1st Prize €60, 2nd Prize €45, 3rd Prize €30.

Con Curtin Music Festival

The Striolán Céilí Band play in the hall for a Set Céilí at 3pm.

There will be an evening of singing starting at 4pm with Mike O'Connor and Ciarán O Gealbháin in Flanagans Bar.
